THEODORE E OSTERKAMP
MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Theodore E. Osterkamp, 70, were held March 31 at 3:30 p.m. at Wayne Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. Harvey O. Gilbertson officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Osterkmap died at Xavier hospital, Dubuque, March 29. He was born in Germany Oct. 31,1902, son of Dietrich and Caroline Scheet Osterkamp. He came to this country in 1920. He married Marie Harms Dec. 23, 1924 and they lived in Jones, Delaware and Dubuque counties all of their married lives. She preceded him in death in December 1966. He is survived by nine children, Mrs. John (Loretta) Watters, Dubuque; Harry T., Monticello; Carl, Dorchester; Mrs. Herman (Marie) Gansemer, Sherrill; Matthew, LaMotte; James, Dorchester. Also Mrs. Wayne (Annette) Waller, LaMotte; William, Center Jct.; and Albert of Peosta. He is survived by 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as two brothers, Eraest, Anamosa and Nick, Davenport; and one sister, Mrs. John (Henrietta) Boysen, Monticello.
Casketbearers were Ivan Osterkamp, John Osterkamp, Louis Osterkamp, Elmer Osterkamp, John Boysen, Jr. and Marvin Boysen.
