CARL HENRY OSTERKAMP
Carl Osterkamp, Caulfield, MO, son of Theodore and Molly (Harms) Osterkamp, was born December 26, 1928, in Iowa and passed away December 14, 2008, at his residence at the age of 79 years.
Carl spent many years working as a dairy farmer. He loved being outdoors and staying physically active. He always kept busy around the farm. He was a very strong and independent man.
Carl is survived by his four brothers James Osterkamp of Caulfield, MO, Bill Osterkamp of Center Jet, IA, Albert "Skip" Osterkamp of Dubuque, IA, Matthew Osterkamp of Alabama; his two sisters Loretta Waters of Dubuque, IA, and Netta Waller of Lamont, IA; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral services will be 10AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Greg Yount officiating. Interment will follow in the Sewell Family Cemetery in Isabella; MO. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9AM to service time at the funeral home.
