Born Jan. 7, 1914, in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Ira James and Rilla Johnston Knepp.
Mrs. Liddle was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. James "Jim" M. Liddle of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Lynn) Strobel of Greensburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Twila (Toddy) Mathieson of Florida; a brother, Bo Knepp of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Liddle, who died on Aug. 24, 1970, and by nine brothers and sisters.
LIDDLE - Friends of Katharine Knepp Liddle, who died on Friday, July 23, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 East North St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Liddle, her son, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown Crest Cemetery in Clearfield.
