Rites Held For Retired Madill Pastor
MADILL, June 26 -- Services for Wiley Thomas Arterberry, 85, a retired minister of the Church of Christ, were Saturday afternoon in the Madill Cemetery, conducted by D. C. Scott, minister, Wewoka Church of Christ. Bettes of Ardmore directed.
Born in Perry County, Ill., Jan. 9, 1869, the veteran clergyman died Friday in an Ardmore hospital after a short illness.
He is survived by two nephews, N. L. Burk, Shawnee, and Walter Arterberry, Madill, and a great niece, Mrs. June Lowe, Shawnee.
