Funeral services for Tressie Sikes Parker were held at 2 pm Sunday, October 20, 2002 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Leach officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield, LA. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Parker, age 86 of Winnfield, LA died Friday, October 18, 2002 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she worked for many years in daycare.

Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clyde P. Parker, her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are one son, Clyde "Dub" W. Parker of Winnfield; two daughters, Brenda Brunson of Dry Prong, LA and Sheryl Smith of Natchez, MS; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: James Smith, Kevin Brunson, Trey Cathey, Chad Polk, Brandon Parker and Derek Parker.
