Grady W. Sikes, 50, oil field worker of Cut Off, La., died in Marrero, La., Saturday, Nov. 25. He was a native of the Sikes area.

Last rites were conducted at the Fellowship Baptist Church, November 26, with Reverends C. S. Martin and E. D. Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Acting as pallbearers were Glenn and Dewayne Adams, Loy and Lee Gaar, John Wood, and Ardis Ray Sikes.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grady Sikes; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Louis Hatten of Houma; his father, J. W. Sikes; four sisters, Mrs. Eddie Chaddick, Shreveport, Mrs. Hester Simons, Sikes, Mrs. Ollie Adams and Mrs. Tressie Parker, Dodson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
