Heber Latham Ashby

Spanish Fork--Heber L. Ashby, 73, died Friday in a Provo hospital of natural causes.

He was born October 23, 1898 in Lake Shore, a son of Samuel and Emma Clayson Ashby. He married Elizabeth Cook in 1925 and they were later divorced. He married Elsie Moll in 1949 and she died in 1964.

Mr. Ashby received his education in Spanish Fork Schools and made his home in Missoula, Montana, for many years while working as a carpenter. He returned to Utah in 1947, making his home in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are a son and daughter, James Ashby, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Mary Perrington, Missoula, Montana; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother and sister, Mrs. Henry (Mary) Clark and Albert Ashby, both of Payson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary Chapel in Spanish Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

Funeral Mondav, 1 p.m. in the Walker Mortuary Chapel in Spanish Fork where friends call one hour
