She was born July 21, 1930, in Dover Township, a daughter of the late Christian E. and Alyce E. (Pickell) Lamparter. Doll's commitment to her family was evident in the loving care she gave them.
Alyce retired in 1993 following 30 years of service as a packer for Bon Ton Foods. She was a member of Bridgeway Community Church, York; Northern York County Game & Fish, where she was a former financial secretary; and the Pinchot Chapter of the Isaak Walton League. In addition to her husband, Doll is survived by two daughters, Chloe E. Wigfield and June L. Shoemaker, both of Dover; three sons, Marvin W. Neiman, David L. Neiman, and Lowell A. Neiman, all of Dover; twelve grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; three step greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Catherine B. Berkheimer and Anna Stover, both of Dover; and two brothers, Franklin P. Lamparter of Mountville and Eugene J. Lamparter of Dover. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; four brothers; and three sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday and the viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. David B. Mackenzie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeway Community Church, 255 Reynolds Mill Road, York, PA 17403; or VNA Hospice, 218 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
