Funeral for Leonard D. "Jack" Dutro, 73, of Waycross Drive, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Robert W. Muncie officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from, 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Dutro died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 1994, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A former employee of Butler and Jones Vending and Hooks Vending companies, he retired in 1980 after 25 years with Borden Ice Cream Co. He attended the Nazarene Church.
He was born March 17, 1921, in Columbus, the son of Raymond and Bessie Morrison Dutro. He married Golda F. Pittman, Oct 12, 1940. She died April 9, 1974.
Survivors include sons, Jack G. Dutro of St. Charles, Mo., and Danny D. Dutro of Columbus; a daughter, Tyra J. Cataline of Columbus; sisters, Sue Bennett and Charlene Jordan, both of Columbus; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Kay Dutro; and sisters, Elaine Pence and Capitola Dutro.
