Danny Dale Dutro, 74, of Clifford, passed away January 30, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Danny was born July 20, 1947 in Columbus, the son of Leonard Dale and Golda Fay Pittman Dutro. He married Esther Ruth Burkitt April 26, 2013.

Danny was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and retired from Cummin's Engine Company after 30 years of service. He loved western movies, especially ones starring John Wayne. Danny was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, wrestling, and collected hats and t-shirts. The most important parts of his life was his family and his animals.

Danny is survived by his wife Esther; a son Danny Floyd (Linda) Dutro of Morristown, Tennessee; daughters Tina Marie (John) Simmons of Clifford and Kristina Elizabeth (Richard) Henry of Nineveh; grandchildren Serenity Sample, Mackenzie Simmons, Zachary, Dakota, Jada, Mason, and Aiden Dutro, and Trent Henry; as well as a sister Tyra Jean Cataline of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Jackie Gilbert Dutro; as well as a sister Bonnie Dutro.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 5, 2022 at the Jewell - Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Stamper and Rev. Damon Spurgeon officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service Saturday. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
