His grandparents are; John Matthew Moore (died in Civil War) and Mary Jane Spearman-Moore of Pisgah, Alabama (and) Dr. Wyatt McMillan Garrett and Caroline "Jennie" Chandler-Garrett of Fulton County, Georgia. His great grandparents are; James M. Moore and Mary Glenn May-s Moore of Williamston, South Carolina in Anderson County. Who later moved his family to Cherokee and Fulton County, Georgia. Henry's siblings are; John Wyatt Moore, Carza Mae Moore-Kirby, half sister..Ethel I. Moore, half brother..David Eugene Moore, and a half sister, Alpha Retta Moore. Henry Garrett Moore, married Mattie Lou Blythe 28 July 1901 in Cave Springs, Georgia Floyd County. They moved to Texas and raised their family. Their children are; Freddie Leon Moore (1902-19180, Herman Grady Moore (1903-1960), James "Dewey" Moore (1907-1991), Ruby Pearl Moore (1913-2010) married Mr. Fredrick S. Eades of Snyder, Texas....Lester Odell Moore (1915-1996), Carl Raymond Moore (1920-2003) and Cecil Edward Moore (1922-1998). Henry Garrett Moore, is loved and missed by his family & friends and will be remembered.
