Maternal Haplogroup: L2a1e

Marian Elizabeth Grant Bowen, 74, the thirteenth child born to the late Ezekiel Grant, Sr. (d. 1979) and Ardonia Jones Grant (d. 1959), entered into this world on 3 July 1924, in Mims, Florida. She departed this life peacefully on 15 December 2000.

Marian moved to Tampa, Florida where she met and married Herbert Bowen on 7 September 1948. There were no children born to this union. They lived together happily until Herbert passed away on 22 September 1983. Marian dearly missed Herbert.

Marian maintained a warm and inviting home in Tampa throughout her stay, creating an atmosphere that welcomed her brother Johnnie and his wife Fleta for an extended visit. Marian's siblings had always yearned for an opportunity to take vacations and visit her and Herbert in the beautiful city of Tampa.
