Mrs. Lue Minor Gribbins, 76, of the Tallow Creek Community in Taylor County, Bradfordsville, Route 2, daughter of the late J. W. and Eliza Shively Minor, was born in Taylor County, February 13, 1894. She died at the Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, March 1st, 1970. She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church near Spurlington. She united in marriage to Mr. Fred Gribbins, April 22, 1914 and to this union one daughter was born: Mrs. Ada Bowen of Bradfordsville, Rt. 2. Besides her husband and daughter, she is survived by one grandson, Leonard Gribbins of Louisville; three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Sylvia Veatch of Campbellsville, Route 6; Mrs. Sue Wise of Campbellsville; Mrs. Mary Tungate and Mr. Dave Minor both of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Mr. Robert Minor of Welby, Ohio. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3rd, in the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. Roy Hewlett with burial at Liberty Cemetery near Spurlington.
