Obituary: JOHN ALTMAN, 57, dies in California.
John David Altman, 57, a resident of Lansing for 20 years, died Saturday in Studio City, Calif. following a long illness. Mr. Altman During WWII, was a civilian welder on Navy ships in Hawaii. 1942-45. He worked at Oldsmobile division, until leaving the city in 1951. He was suffering from cancer. Surviving are ther widow, Beatrice, three sisters, Mrs. Henry Blair of Lansing, Mrs Mabel Stocker and Mrs Henry Eliser both of Detroit, and two brothers, Clyde and Charles , both of Indiana. Services and burial will be in California.
