A devoted husband, daddy, poppy and friend, Pat Farmer, 71, of Lubbock passed away Sunday at Covenant Medical Center after his lengthy and courageous battle with pneumonia. His family will receive friends at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Freewill Baptist Church, located toward Reese Center at Hwy 179 and 8th St., with Brother Jack Farmer officiating.

Pat's beautiful life started Jan.20, 1937, in Killeen, to Pat Sr.(Paschal) and Annie (Taylor) Farmer. He lived in Plainview where he raised, loved, and cherished his family,
and later moved to Lubbock. Pat was remarried Nov.8, 1985,
to his loving and devoted wife, Deborah Ehlo. Pat was a well respected and loved home builder all of his working life.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, two sisters, one brother, and two sons, Pat Farmer III and Bret Farmer.

Survivors are his loved ones, wife, Deborah Ehlo Farmer, daughters, Judy Farmer Stanton, and Teresa Farmer Mills, brothers, Jackie and Bobby Farmer, sisters, Patsy Eriole, and Glenna Vaughn; eight grandchildren, Kieshia, Ashley, Trevor, Carissa, Stefan, Presley, Danielle, and great-grandchildren, Remington, Ruger, and Brayden.
