Bobby Farmer, 60, of Shallowater, Texas, went to meet his Savior on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011. He was born July 20, 1950, in Odessa, Texas. He was the youngest of eight siblings. He served in the Navy as corpsmen from 1969 to 1971. He married Cynthia Baker June 7, 1980, in Lubbock. He was employed by Texas Veterans Commission.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Bobby Farmer Jr. of Lubbock; brother, Jackie Farmer of Shallowater; and two sisters, Glenna Vaughn of Slaton, TX, and Patsy Eriole of Mechanicsville, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat Farmer Sr.; mother, Annie V. Farmer; two brothers, Pat Farmer and J.W. Farmer; and two sisters, Irene Brewer and Barbara Culver.
Bobby enjoyed being with the family, working in his yard, 60's music, and helping veterans and anyone who passed his way.
