Funeral service for Barbara Sue Temple Farmer Culver, 60, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Idalou Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. The family will be present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Barbara died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Lubbock. She was born Sept. 6, 1943, in Killeen. Barbara was an active member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church and was very involved with the youth and children's missions. She was instrumental in leading several of the children to know Christ.

She is survived by her son, Joe Hall and wife Sherry of Ransom Canyon; mother, Ann Farmer of Lubbock; brothers, Pat Farmer of Lubbock, and Jackie Farmer and Bobby Farmer, both of Shallowater; sisters, Patsy Eriole of New York and Glenna Vaughn of Slaton; and three grandchildren, Kirstie, Joshua and Daniel Hall, all of Ranso m Canyon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Culver; father, Pat Farmer; a sister, Irene Brewer; and a brother, J.W. Farmer.
