Rose Ellen Albaugh was born April, 1876, in Frederick County, Maryland, the daughter of George Washington and Sarah Jane Valentine Albaugh. In 1903, she married Charles Edward Fogle, son of Joshua and Harriet Locke Fogle. They were the parents of one daughter, Ethel A. Fogle. Rose Ellen passed away May 31, 1960, in Sykesville, Carroll County, Maryland, and was buried June 2nd in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, Frederick County, Maryland.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. John Boller, Thurmont, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. The body is at the M. L. Creager and Son Funeral Home where friends may call after 5 p.m. today. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Her pastor, Rev. William Irvin, is to officiate.
