Margie A. Albaugh ws born January 18, 1880, in Frederick County, Maryland, the daughter of George Washington and Sarah Jane Valentine Albaugh. In March, 1905, in Frederick County, she married John Russell Dorsey, son of Charles A. and Catharine Dorsey. They were the parents of 5 children: Margaret R., Dorothy C., Marian A., John Russell and George Alfred Dorsey. Margie passed away March 7, 1957, in Sykesville, Carroll County, Maryland, and was buried on the 9th in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery, Rocky Ridge, Frederick County, Maryland.

"Mrs. Margie A. Dorsey, widow of J. Russell Dorsey, formerly of Rocky Ridge, died at Springfield State Hospital Wednesday night at the age of 77 years. She was born in Frederick County, daughter of George W. and Sarah Jane Valentine Albaugh. Surviving her are the following children: Mrs. Margaret O'Toole and John R. Dorsey, both of Baltimore; Mrs. Dorothy Stup, Mrs. Marian Davis, and George A. Dorsey, all of Frederick; also one sister, Mrs. Charles E. Fogle, Thurmont; 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Prayer services will be held from the funeral home at 1201 North Market Street Saturday at 12 noon,after which the body will be removed to Mt. Tabor Lutheran and Reformed Church, Rocky Ridge, where it will lie in state until two p.m. whenservices will be held. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Robert E. Dailey, funeral directors."
