Born on October 5, 1928, in Pleasants County, WV, he was the son of the late Bud and Fern Moore Maston.
He worked for American Cyanamid for 38 years.
During his career he held several jobs, but for most of those years he was one of their best mechanics.
He was a valued employee and many times he was called to repair a piece of equipment that appeared unfixable.
He always figured a way to get it back in service.
Following his retirement he most enjoyed his great-grandchildren and a horse "Rosie" that he had raised from a colt and also enjoyed woodworking.
He was a member of George Street Church of Christ.
Throughout his life he gave of his time unselfishly to others that were in need, helping any way he could or fixing something that was broken.
Paul enjoyed the outdoors all his life hunting, fishing, coaching softball teams or just being outdoors.
Most of all he enjoyed being around family at home cookouts and playing yard games.
Survivors other than his wife includes, one daughter, two sons, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry, and Buddy.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV.
