Ray (Jack) Brockman of Campbellsville, son of the late James Arthur Brockman and Lillie Wise Brockman, was born in Taylor County, March 28, 1918, and died at 1:05 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, 1990 in Campbellsville after an illness. He was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church, a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmission and a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He was married to Lucille Wooley on Nov. 12, 1946. Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Margaret Holt, Campbellsville, and several other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers, Lottie Brockman, Ruby Beane, Hubert Brockman, Roy Brockman and Lafayette Brockman. The funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home with Dr. James E. Jones and the Rev. David Henderson officiating. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Gilbert, Mac Hill, Turner Gaddie, O. A.
