Ruby Bean, 66, of 311 North Court Street in Campbellsville, formerly of Russell Springs, died at 10 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at Metzmeier Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Russell Springs. She united in marriage to Elbert (Doc) Bean January 2, 1937. Besides her husband, she is survived by two brother and one sister: Ray Brockman and Pete Brockman, both of Campbellsville, and Margaret Holt of Campbellsville, Route 1. Several nieces and nephews and many friends also survive. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Gilbert Sapp and Dr. Paul Horner. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were O. A. Wise, Marvin Wise, Doug Bright, James Bottoms, Ruel Burd, and Charles Lowe.
