LITITZ, Pa. - William Cover Kneisley, 68, of 70 Brookfield Road, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lebanon, Pa.
Born June 23, 1935, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William Cover Kneisley Sr. and Eleanor Jaeger Kneisley Kline.
He attended Hagerstown High School.
He owned and operated a janitorial service.
He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the VFW of Lititz.
He is survived by
his wife, Sandra Murphy Kneisley;
two daughters,
Kathy Kneisley and
Kellyn Kneisley, both of Lititz;
two stepsons,
Kim Myers of York, Pa. and
Kreg Myers of Broomfield, Colo.;
three sisters,
Dorian Knode and
Carol Martin, both of Hagerstown, and
Derrlene Hart of Waynesboro, Pa.;
one brother, John Kneisley of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and
five grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, with military honors by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
