FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - John Cover Kneisley Sr., 61 of Falling Waters, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at his home.

Born Sept. 9, 1943, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William C. Kneisley Sr. and Eleanor E. Jaeger Kneisley Kline.

He was employed as a fuel delivery driver by Griffith Oil Co. for 40 years.

He was a member of The Improved Order of Red Men Council 84 of Williamsport, Loyal Order of Moose and FOE Aeries 694 of Hagerstown.

He is survived by
one daughter, Tina M. Yost of Hagerstown;
one son, John C. Kneisley Jr. of Hagerstown;
three sisters,
Dorian Knode of Hagerstown,
Derrlene G. Hart of Waynesboro, Pa., and
Carol E. Martin of Hagerstown;
four grandchildren;
stepsisters; stepbrothers;
nieces; and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles G. Kline, and one brother, William C. Kneisley Jr.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel in Hagerstown. The Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
