OBITUARY :
SANDRA JUNE KNEISLEY, 71, of Akron, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Maple Farms Nursing Home in Akron where she was a resident.
Born November 14, 1936 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Roy Murphy and Gladys Sellers Murphy Rohrer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cover Kneisley on June 16, 2004.
She enjoyed bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Kneisley, and her fiancé Carl McComsey, and Kellyn Kneisley all of Litiz, PA; one son, Kreg Myers, and his wife Sharon, of Broomfield, CO; two sisters, Shirley Stenger, and her husband Wayne, of Greencastle, PA, Sharon Daugherty, and her husband Leroy, of Falling Waters, WV; two brothers, Wayne Burger, and his wife Carol, of Keedysville, MD, and Kelly Rohrer, and his wife Brenda, of Hagerstown, MD; and five grandchildren, Kristin Myers and Kim Leeann Myers, both of York, PA, Kerry Kneisley, and his wife, Carrie, Scott Kneisley, and Kayla Kneisley, all of Lititz, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
