Mrs. Scott died Friday in the Uintah County Hospital of natural causes.
She was born October 1, 1907 in Vernal to George A. and Alice White Gurr.
She married Lawrence K. Scott December 27, 1930. He died October 20, 1949.
She was a member of the LDS church.
Survivors include son and daughters, Gary , Mrs Ralph (Connie) Haworth, Mrs. Kay (Shirley) Timothy, all of Vernal; Mrs Albert (Georgia) Sanchez, Ogden; Mrs Cirilo (Virginia) Trujillo, Layton; Mrs. Harold (Leatrice) Hamblin, Kaysville.
Also 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Alice Gurr, Vernal; brothers and sisters, Lawrence, Myrtle Murray, Ella Shiner, Madge Jackson, Bernice Jackson, Freda Abplanalp, Vera Gurr, and Lola Peterson all of Vernal; Earl, Bonanza.

Prayer at the mortuary for Mrs. Scott was given by Harold Hamblin, son-in-law.
Conducting the services was Loren Reynolds, member of the bishopric, who also gave remarks.
Ada Openshaw played organ prelude and postlude music. A duet "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose", was sung by Norman Haslem and Verdin Goodrich, accompanied by Mrs Openshaw.
Bishop Marvin Jackson gave the opening prayer.
Speakers were Hyrum Slaugh and Clyde Anderson.
A duet, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine", was sung by Gaila Holmes and Doug Timothy, accompanied by Mrs Openshaw.
A song, "Going Home", was sung by President and Mrs. Glade Sowards.
Jake Trujillo gave the benediction.
Pallbearers were Steven Trujillo, Scott Timothy, Darris Kendall, Kent Jackson, Chad Peterson and Robert Reigan.
Earl Gurr dedicated the grave.
Burial was at he Vernal Memorial Park.
