Was Resident of Drywood Vicinity for 54 years.
E.S. Boe, a resident of Synnes township, Stevens County, for the past 54 years, died at his home there on Wednesday, Nov. 23, a victim of cancer, following an illness of about two years. Mr. Boe was 76 years of age.

He filed on a homestead in Synnes township in 1884, and this remained his home until his death.
Mr. Boe was among the first settlers in the Drywood Lake vicinity and he was of that pioneer stock that endured the hardships of the early days and to whom must go the credit for the development of the great northwest.
