Alice Lojean "Jean" Proffitt was born on March 29, 1934 in Premier Camp Virginia her parents were Henry and Ocie Davis Proffitt. She passed away on March 30, 2010 in Winston Salem North Carolina. She was my grandmother and my best friend. Granny loved her family so much her children her grandchildren her parents and her brothers and sisters was her world. She is deeply missed by her six children, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
