May Agnes Boudreaux is the second born of Rudolph Percy Boudreaux and Lena Adele Kern Boudreaux.

May's siblings are as follows in order of birth: Percy George, May Agnes, Mabel Ann, Harold J., Lawrence Charles, and Clara Artie Boudreaux. Rudolph Percy and Lena Adele also raised/adopted Arthur Joseph (AJ) Kern, a nephew from a baby.

May married Marshall Edward Cox in 1923. They had nine children. They are as follows in order of birth: Marshall Edward Jr., Betty Jo, Dottie Dee, Jane Adele, Joy Louise, Mary Sue, Jimmy Ray, Thomas Gerald and Dorothy Ann.

May died from leukemia.

May Agnes and Marshall Edward Cox are buried in Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, Louisiana. Marshall Edward Jr. was lost at sea on the USS Swordfish during WW II. He has a memorial stone with his parents graves in Vivian Cemetery.
