Betty Jo Williams, 73, of Atlanta, TX, entered into rest on November 29, 1998, following a brief illness.
She was born June 29, 1925, in Harmon, LA and had been a resident of Atlanta, TX for fourteen years. She was a housewife.
Services were held at 1 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, at McGuire Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gene Parker, Pastor of Smyrna Baptist Church officiated at the service. Burial took place at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Ida, LA.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Willis Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Langley of Plainview, TX, and Sheila Wahl of Atlanta, TX,; two sisters, Dottie Stanfield of Vivian, LA, and Dorothy Eams of Ferriday, LA; one brother, Jimmie Cox of Vivian, LA and one grandson, Brett Anderson of Plainview, TX.
