She was born March 30, 1951, in Athens, daughter of the late Virgil and Myrtle Gilkey.
She was a beloved mother and homemaker, and she enjoyed raising flowers and vegetables, and outdoor activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Eugene Harriman, whom she married in 1968, and who died June 5, 1993; and one son, Darrell Harriman.
Surviving are four daughters, Carolyn (Charles) Starr, Rosemary Harriman, Judy A. (Dale) Pitts, all of Zanesville, and Tammy Mae Harriman; three sons, John E. (Kristen) Harriman Jr. of Caldwell, David R. Harriman of Zanesville, and Ricky Lee (April) Harriman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be observed today (Thursday) at noon in the Ogle's Ridge Cemetery near Caldwell, with James McDonald officiating.
