MRS. DOROTHY BOYLES
Mrs. Dorothy Alwes Boyles, 34, died of a brain tumor at 4:25 p.m. yesterday at General Hospital. She lived at 1629-C S. 13th.
A native of Lou isville, she was a member of West Broadway Baptist Church and Francis Scott Key Council of the Daughters of America.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Dorothy Louise Boyles; two sons, James Boyles and Steven Boyles; her fatehr, Harold E. Alwes, Sr.; four sisters, Mrs. Virginia L. Hayes, Pompano Beach, Fla., Mrs. Mary E. Wallace, Mrs. M innie B. Becker, and Mrs. Lillian Chavis, and three brothers, Harold E. Alwes, Jr., William H. Alwes, and Donald R. Alwes.
The fuenral will be at 10 a.m,. Monday at Owen Funeral Home. 2611 Virginia. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BOYLES, Mrs. Dorothy, (nee Alwes), passed away Thursday May 1, 1958, at 4:25 p.m. in her 34th year; family residence, 1629-C S. 13th St. Devoted mother of Dorothy Louise , James and Steven Boyles. daughter of Mr. Harold E.Alwes SR., sister of Mrs. Mary E. Wallace, Mrs. Minnie Belle Becker, Mrs. Lillian Chavis, Mrs. Virginia L. Hayes of Pompano Beach, Fla., Mr. Harold E. Alwes, Mr. William H. Alwes,and Mr. Donald R. Alwes. Remains resting at Owen Funeral Home, 2611 Virginia Ave., Funeral services Monday morning at 10 o'clock from Owen Chapel. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitors may call after 2 p.m. Friday (today)

Dorothy is in a marked grave, buried beside her grandfather Frederick Alwes and his second wife, Lucinda, both Fredrick and Lucinda are in unmarked graves.
Her daughter Dorothy Louise Carroll has since passed away.
