Jeanice Newcomb Adams, age 85 of Glenwood, Arkansas, passed away quietly at home on January 8, 2013.
Visitation was January 12 from 1:00 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood, Arkansas. A burial is planned for a later date.
She was born May 9, 1927 at Glenwood, the daughter of Robert E. Newcomb and Eunice Kitchens Newcomb.
Jeanice was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Leatrice Sanders. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Adams of Glenwood; her sister, Billie Newcomb of Jacksonville, Arkansas; her brother, Hugh Newcomb of Idaho; five children; two step-sons, Mike Barjenbruch of Kirkwood, Texas and Larry Adams of Wellington; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
