Mrs, Mae James-death Nov 26, 1944
Mrs. Mae James of Logansport died Sunday at the home of her brother-in-law Louis James, at Denham after a lingering illness. She had been visiting in Denham the last two weeks. She was born here Feburary 25, 1895, the daughter of William E and Louise Yeargean Lee. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holliness church. Survivors include the husband, six sons and three daughters, Cecil of Logansport, Charles. who is in the army; Paul, William, Donald, and Kenneth at home; Mrs. Parley Ropp of Logansport, Mrs Josephine Jones of Star City, Miss Evelyn James at home' five grandchildren; a half-brothe, Cyrus Darling; two half sisters, Mrs Thelma Miller of Ripley and Mrs Goldie Traveson of Bass Lake. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Chase Miller chapel in Logansport and burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery there.
