Obituary - Mrs. Pearl Maysey, 66, wife of Owen Maysey of Cloverport, died Wednesday, April 24, 1963 at Owensboro-Davis County Hosptial, where she had been a patient for over a week. She was the daughter of William and Martha Ahl and was born in Stephensport, January 1, 1897. A member of Grant Memorial Methodist Church in Cloverport, the W.S.C.S. of the church, Cloverport Chapter of the Eastern Star #163 and a past Worthy Matron.
Surviving are her husband, O.M.Maysey; 2 sons, Haskel Maysey and Damon Maysey, both of Cloverport; 2 daughters, Mrs. E.C. (Marie) Wedding of Philadelphia, Penn., and Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Chandler of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. William (Susie) Gedling; two brothers, Earl Ahl of Tobinsport, Ind., and James Ahl of Rockport, Ind.; and eight grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery at Stephensport. Dhonau Funeral Home in Cloverport was in charge of arrangements.
