Mildred Lorene Chandler Sippel, age 91 of Huntsville, died Saturday at a local hospital.
Mrs. Sippel was a charter member of Highlands United Methodist Church. She was a devoted teacher and taught children in Kentucky, Indiana, and Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L, Chandler & second husband, James E. Sippel.
Mrs. Sippel is survived by her daughter, Rebecca C. Horkman & husband Scott, son, Robert L Chandler & wife Gail, 3 grandsons, Chandler Horkman, Jason Chandler & Joshua Chandler, three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends, Wednesday at 11:00 until 12:00 noon. Service will follow in Spry's Chapel, at 12:00 noon, with Dr. Rod Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
