OBITUARY - Owen M. Maysey, 79, many years a resident of Cloverport had been a patient in the DeJarnette Nursing Home in Cloverport, passed away there suddenly on Friday, May 15, 1970. Mr. Maysey was born August 3, 1891 at Stephensport the son of Charles and Bernetta Hanks Maysey. Mrs. Maysey preceded her husband in death some 8 years ago.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. E.C. Wedding of Wayne, Penn., and Mrs Mildred Chandler of Huntsville, Ala.; two sons, Haskel Maysey and Damon Maysey both of Cloverport.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 17, at the Calvary Methodist Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Stephensport, in the family lot.
Pallbearers were: Earl Hobbs, Jr., Leander Bruner, J. Powers, Paul Fuller, James Basham and Wallace Crow. Dhonau Funeral Home in Cloverport was in charge of arrangements.
