Ahl's Grocery was located on the Ahl Farm near Earl and Verna's home. They had the first electric in Tobinsport, run from a gas powered generator, the first Telephone and the first Television, all in the grocery store. The grocery was a hub of activity during those times. People would go there to use the telephone, watch the latest news on the television, and gathered there nightly. The old building is still standing.
