Lycus D. Perry Conducted Music Store With His Brothers

Lycus D. Perry, 84, former piano manufacturer, died yesterday morning at 1 at his home, 33 West Jackson Street, following a short illness. Deceased was born at Port Clinton in 1863 and resided in New York City and New Rochelle a number of years, but spent the greater part of his life in Wilkes-Barre.
Deceased was a piano manufacturer by trade and was the last surviving member of the Perry Brothers Music Store in this city. Upon the closing of the firm, he was associated with Ludwig and Company, and served as treasurer until he was retired in 1933.
Deceased was a past president of Piano Manufacturers' Association of New York City.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leslie G. Schaumann, New York; sisters, Miss Venus Perry, Wilkes-Barre; and Mrs. C. M. Shreiner, Scranton.
Funeral will be held from Harold C. Snowdon Home for Funerals, 64 North Franklin Street. Tuesday at 2, with Mr. Perry's son-in-law, Rev. Leslie C. Schaumann, of First Eastern Orthodox Church, New York City, officiating. Interment in Hollenback Cemetery.
