aged 22; cause of death unknown
His services were held in the Rumple's Hamilton home at 404 Ross Avenue, corner of E street
Originally buried in Samuel Ziegler's Cemetery in Hanover Township, John and his other deceased siblings were removed to Greenwood Cemetery in 1867 by Aaron Trine (husband of Sarah Rumple) after the death of their father, in 1864, and sisters Catherine and Amanda in 1866.
Ziegler's had reportedly fell into ill repair and was overcrowded, and the desire was to have a family plot.
Many of the Rumples and their in laws may be found nearby or somewhere in Greenwood.
