Originally buried in Samuel Ziegler's Cemetery in Hanover Township, Emma and her other deceased siblings were removed to Greenwood Cemetery in 1867 by Aaron Trine (husband of Sarah Rumple) after the death of their father, Daniel in 1864, and sisters Amanda and Catherine in 1866. Ziegler's had reportedly fell into ill repair and was overcrowded, and it is most likely the desire was to have a family plot. Many of the Rumples and their in laws may be found nearby or somewhere in Greenwood.
