She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who leaves behind quite a legacy. "I've lived a long life and I've had a long row to hoe, but I've had a lot of love."
Reba was a homemaker who loved to quilt and sew. An outgoing person, she never met a stranger and loved to laugh. She was loving and fun and loved by many.
Mrs. Daniels' legacy includes one son, Ronnie Price of Anaheim, CA; daughters, Mary Lou Elder of Goldsmith and Barbria Daniels of Odessa; sister, Helen Murphy of Nocona; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was a Baptist and a volunteer for over 15 years with Servants of the Poor.
She was preceded to her Heavenly home by her husband, Ray Berry Daniels; two sons, Jimmy Don Randall and Danny Ray Daniels; three daughters, Louise Ruby Goodson, Linda Cathryn Daniels, and Patricia Ann Daniels; all five of her brothers, Arthur "Sun" Sledge, Marcell Sledge, Richard Sledge, Raymond Sledge, and Curtis Sledge; sister, Elizabeth Shuler; grandson, Cody Elder; and great-grandson, Dustin Teague.
The family will receive friends and visitors at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Thursday evening, January 10, 2013, from 6-8 pm. Funeral services in Odessa will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Acres West Funeral Chapel, officiated by Pastor Johnny Touchstone. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Comanche, TX, at Taylor Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W.
