He was born on Nov. 11, 1925, in Dodgeville, to Arthur and Florence (Weber) Rikli. On Nov. 20, 1946, he married Doris
M. Doescher at Evangelical Lutheran Church Parsonage in Mount Horeb. He was a cheese and butter maker by trade.
He started cheese making with his brother-in-law, Harvey Doescher in 1947. He started his own cheese making in
1952. He worked at Zander's Creamery from 1969 and retired in 1995. He was a member of West Blue Mounds Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Vernon (Alice) and Melvin (Esther) Rikli; and three sisters, LaVon (Lester) Odegard, Irene (Keith) Mullikin,
Doris (Vernon) Griffiths; and son-in-law, Richard Miller.
