PINE HALL - Salome Ann Preston Manuel, 90, formerly of Hwy. 772, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital.
Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at the Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Manuel was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County, was a former employee of Eanes Manufacturing, was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dewey Manuel; an infant daughter, Betty Carolyn Kirkman; and 9 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Rose of Sandy Ridge, Judy McKinney and husband, W.L. of Reidsville, and Rayford A. Kirkman and wife, Judy of Spartanburg, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at Ray Funeral Home and all other times, at the home of Barbara Rose, 1605 Phillips Rd., Sandy Ridge.
