Mr. Maddox is survived by the widow, Mrs. May Maddox; a daughter, Mrs. William Belew, of Anderson; a foster son, Harry Hurst, of Cincinnati; five brothers, Matthew and Charles Maddox, of Owensville, Ky.; Ruben and Nelson Maddox, of Anderson, and Emory Maddox, of Springfield, Ohio, and three sisters, Mrs. A.P. Jones and Mrs, Martha Mount , both of Anderson, and Mrs. James Humphries, of Alexandria.
Mr. Maddox was an employee of the A.F. and M Company, where he was a machinist. He was affiliated with the Mt. Hope M.E. church and the Linwood Lodge of Odd Fellows.
