Mrs. Lena B. Hockley, 77, widow of David S. Hockley, Carlisle, died Monday morning in the Carlisle Hospital.
Born June 24, 1890, in Wenksville, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie Leaming Beamer and had lived in Carlisle during the past 37 years. She was a member of the Allison Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Miss Ethel M. Hockley, Carlisle, with whom she had lived; one son, Albert S. Hockley, Carlisle; one grandson, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 South St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Dr. W. Lynn Crowding, officiating. Burial will be in the Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
