Mrs. Lydia Newswanger, 82, formerly of Stevens R1, died Monday at 11:30 at Landis Homes, Lititz R3, where she was a guest for 19 years.
Born in Paradise Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Lydia Hufford Reinhart, and was the widow of Amos B. Newswanger who died Dee. 22. 1970.
Mrs. Newswanger was a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church.
Surviving are seven children: Paul R. of Harrisburg; Elsie, the wife of Raymond E.
Martin of Brickerville; Edith, the wife of Leonard Seibel of Mooresville R2; Amos Jr. of Pine Grove R3; Lester R. of Myerstown; Robert R. of Stevens R1; Anna., the wife of the Reverend Ira. Z. Ginder of Denver R2; 44 grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family.
