Olive was born Oct. 29, 1916 in Gypsum, KS to Elmer and Lillian Elva King. Her father was a United Brethren Minister and the family moved many places including Topeka, Wichita, Salina and Glendive, MT. Olive met her husband Leonard Gage at a church camp in Beloit, KS and they made their home on a farm N.E. of Hoisington for 65 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Janice Arth and husband Don, and Eileen Covert and husband Dayton. And her son Dwight Gage and wife Carolyn. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Stauffer and 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
