- Wilfred "Dick" Lipe, age 76, Rogersville died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol following an extended illness.
He served as a Medic in the U.S. Army and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Laura Lipe and sister, Gladys Lipe.
He is survived by his wife, Vonda Hurd Lipe, of the home; sons, David Thomas and wife, Susanne, North Carolina and Timothy Hurd and wife, Marcy, Texas; step-son, Bradley Lewis and wife, Christy, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Thomas and Ashley and Amberleigh Hurd; step grandchildren, April and Austin Lewis; sister, Ann Thomas, Rogersville; brothers Walter Lipe and wife, Clara and Marvin Lipe, all of Rogersville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at the Lipe Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville is in charge of arrangements.
