"Mrs. Sabina Catherine Schroeder, 69, died Thursday Oct. 25, 1979 at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born Sept. 17, 1910 at Koeltztown, the daughter of Herman and Catherine Boeckman Wieberg. On Nov. 18, 1931, she was married at St. Anthony to Walter Schroeder, who survives at the home.
She was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic church at Meta and the church's ladies aid society.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Alice Helton and Mrs. Helen Wankum both of Meta, Mrs. Dorothy Jurgensmeyer of Koeltztown; six brothers - Arthur Wieberg and Andrew Wieberg, both of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Hugo Wieberg of Columbia, Leo Wieberg of Meta and Jerome Wieberg of Koeltztown, Linus Wieberg of St. Anthony; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Hoeller and Mrs. Arharda Libbert, both of Meta; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at 10 am Saturday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Meta with the Rev. Arthur Mersinger officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
